THE OWNERS OF THE FANCY CARS WERE INSIDE DOWNTOWN MAQUOKETA'S GREAT BANK BUILDING, THE SHOWPLACE OF MAIN STREET.
THEN, IT IS TIME FOR THE FAMILY TO DO SOME SHOPPING IN ONE OF IOWA'S
MOST POPULAR CITIES.
THEN THE SNOW CAME AND IT WAS PRETTY QUIET EARLY THE NEXT
MORNING.
MAIN STREET MAQUOKETA (LOOKING NORTH) AT 5:30 A.M. SATURDAY,
JANUARY 3, 2015.

FROM GEORGE. FIRST HE GAVE YOU THAT FRIENDLY SMILE AND SOFT-SPOKEN "HELLO".....AND THEN HE GRABBED THE SHOE MEASURING

ON YOU SAID.....THEN YOU WALKED AROUND THE STORE.....THEN LOOKED
IN THE MIRROR.....GEORGE KEPT SMILING.....AND FINIALLY YOU DECIDED
ON THE PAIR YOU WANTED. GEORGE WOULD SAY.....DO YOU WANT TO
WEAR THEM HOME? AND SO, PAY TIME (WITH CASH OR CHECK, NO DEBIT CARDS THEN) AND YOU WERE A HAPPY CUSTOMER OF SPALDING'S SHOE
