THE LUNCH ON THE DAIRY FARM SUNDAY WAS A HUGE SUCCESS WITH OVER 800 ATTENDING. THE LINE ABOVE WAS ONE OF 4 ON DIFFERENT ROADS, BUT THEY DID HAVE TWO OR THREE WAGONS TO GIVE PEOPLE A LIFT TO THE FARM WHERE THE FREE LUNCH WAS BEING SERVED AND WHERE PEOPLE COULD LOOK OVER THE MOORE DAIRY FARM AND LEARN ABOUT THE DAIRY BUSINESS. THIS EVENT HELD EVERY JUNE TO HELP CELEBRATE JUNE DAIRY MONTH AND IS SPONSORED BY THE CLINTON-JACKSON DAIRY ASSOCIATION.

THE AUCTION BARN OFF PERSHING ROAD AT THE NORTH EDGE OF MAQUOKETA HAS BEENPAINTED. LOOKS GOOD. WONDER WHAT THE
PLANS FOR IT ARE? I WILL LET YOU KNOW IF I HEAR ANYTHING.
BECAUSE JULY 4TH FALLS ON A SATURDAY THIS YEAR...FRIDAY JULY 3RD, WILL BE A HOLIDAY FOR THE CITY OF MAQUOKETA AND CITY HALL WILL BE CLOSED.
THE CLINTON COUNTY AREA SOLID WASTE AGENCY ANNOUNCED LAST WEEK THAT THE AGENCY WILL BE CLOSED SATURDAY AND ON FRIDAY, JULY 3RD, WILL RUN A SATURDAY SCHEDULE AND WILL BE OPEN FROM 7:30 A.M. UNTIL 12 NOON.
THERE MAY BE OTHER BUSINESS PLACES AND PUBLIC PLACES THAT WILL BE CLOSED THIS FRIDAY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD TO THIS LIST, JUST EMAIL ME AT kmaq@kmaq.com.
