RESURFACING PROJECT IS BEING DONE IN THE AREA OF THE S-CURVE.
AND AT THE INTERSECTION OF MAPLE AND S. MAIN, REPAVING IS BEING DONE. ALL SHOULD BE COMPLETED IN A DAY OR SO.
THE JACKSON COUNTY COURT SYSTEM IS SCHEDULED TO BECOME COMPUTERIZED BY NEXT YEAR. SEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT JUDGE MARLETA GREVE ADDRESSED THE JACKSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS YESTERDAY MORNING AND SAID WHILE JACKSON COUNTY MAY SEEM LIKE A SMALL COUNTY, IT IS NOT SMALL IN THE COURT SYSTEM. SHE SAID JACKSON COUNTY IS IN THE TOP THIRD IN THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM IN FILINGS.

IN THIS FIELD WILL BE SOLD BY THE CLUB AT THEIR NEWLY PAINTED LITTLE BUILDING IN ANDREW THAT WAS THE OLD ANDREW GAS STATION. LARRY SAID IT IS SOME OF THE BEST LOOKING SWEET CORN HE HAS SEEN AND
THAT THE BICOLOR SEED WAS PURCHASED AT MAQUOKETA FEEDS.
THE CORN WAS PLANTED AT 32,000 KERNELS PER ACRE AND TASSELS ARE STARTING TO SHOW. LAST SUMMER, THE LIONS SOLD 550 DOZEN EARS TO RAISE MONEY FOR FOUR, $750 SCHOLARSHIPS THEY PRESENT TO SENIORS.
A GAS DRIVE-OFF AT THE CASEY'S STORE ON WESTGATE DRIVE YESTERDAY MORNING. $56 WORTH OF GAS.
