IN WRESTLING SATURDAY AT DES MOINES: MARCUS BREEDEN LOST HIS MATCH AND GOT A MEDAL FOR FINISHING 6TH AT 119 POUNDS. HE'S A SENIOR AND FINISHED
THE YEAR WITH A 22 AND 9 RECORD.
TIM O'CONNELL, SENIOR, AT 135 POUNDS, LOST HIS MATCH AND GOT A MEDAL
FOR 4TH IN THE STATE. HE FINISHED THE SEASON AT 40 AND 4.
AND THOMAS MAYBERRY, ALSO A SENIOR, AT 160 POUNDS, LOST SATURDAY
AND GOT A MEDAL FOR 8TH PLACE IN THE STATE. HE ENDED THE SEASON
WITH A 36 AND 7 RECORD.
THERE IS STILL MORE WRESTLING FOR THE ENTIRE CARDINAL TEAM. THEY
WILL BE IN BETTENDORF TOMORROW NIGHT FOR THE CLASS 3-A REGIONAL
TEAM DUAL TOURNAMENT STARTING AT 7 P.M. T HEY WRESTLE BETTENDORF AND THE BULLDOGS HAD 2 STATE CHAMPIONS LAST WEEK IN DES MOINES.
DR. PAUL KOOB AND LEIGHTON HEPKER WILL BROADCAST THE MATCHES TONIGHT
ON KMAQ.
THE DEWITT GIRLS DEFEATED DUBUQUE WAHLERT SATURDAY NIGHT 50 TO 37 AND PLAY #2 RATED WAUKON TOMORROW NIGHT. THE WINNER GOES TO THE STATE
TOURNAMENT.
THERE IS A SCHOOL BOARD MEETING TONIGHT.
