THE COMMISSION APPROVED AN ENGINEERING AGREEMENT FOR THE ROAD TO BE MOVED A SHORT DISTANCE TO THE WEST. THE COMMISSION
HAS REQUESTED THAT THE NEW ROAD BE HARD SURFACED. THE F.A.A.
IS PAYING FOR 90 PERCENT OF COST. THE CITY'S SHARE, THE OTHER 10 PERCENT. PLUS ENGINEERING COSTS OF NEARLY $10,000 FOR THE CITY.
THE PROJECT WILL BE UP FOR APPROVAL AT THE NEXT CITY COUNCIL
MEETING.
