A MAQUOKETA MAN, JASON LAUFENBERG, 29, WHILE IN JAIL STUFFED A T-SHIRT AND BED SHEET DOWN THE TOILET AT THE JAIL. TOOK A COUPLE HOURS TO UNPLUG IT. SO, ANOTHER CHARGE FOR HIM...CRIMINAL
MISCHIEF.
MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT AT 7.
A MAQUOKETA NATIVE, BILL ROBINSON, AGE 73 OF IOWA CITY,
DIED FRIDAY. HE SERVED IN THE NAVY AND AFTER GRADUATION FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA, HE WORKED FOR 28 YEARS AS THE DIRECTOR
OF HUMAN RESOURCES AT ORAL B. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS
WIFE DOROTHY AND FOUR DAUGHTERS. FUNERAL AT 10 TOMORROW AT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN IOWA CITY. LENSING FUNERAL HOME IN CHARGE OF SERVICE.

BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS TREES GREETED EVERYONE AS THEY ENTERED THE
DELMAR SCHOOL.
AND OF COURSE, SANTA WAS THERE TOO, ON THE STAGE TALKING WITH ALL THE KIDS. BACK THIS YEAR....TROLLEY RIDES AROUND TOWN TO SEE THE LIGHTS.
A FUN NIGHT AT DELMAR....THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE!
