FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE AT 10:30 FRIDAY FOR GEORGE SHEARER, AGE 94, OF MAQUOKETA, WHO DIED SUNDAY AT THE MAQUOKETA CARE CENTER.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE TWO SONS, INCLUDING ROBERT SHEARER OF MAQUOKETA.
STOCK CAR RACING STARTS FRIDAY NIGHT, APRIL 11TH AT THE DAVENPORT SPEEDWAY, PROMOTED BY DRT TRACK RACING, INC. OF MAQUOKETA,
OWNED BY BOB WAGNER OF MAQUOKETA. HE HAS BEEN THE PROMOTER THERE FOR MANY YEARS.

THE DEWITT OBSERVER BUSINESS EXPO IS TOMORROW FROM 3 UNTIL 7 P.M. IN THE LARGE 4-H BUILDING AT THE FAIRGROUNDS, DEWITT. KMAQ IS ONE OF THE CO-SPONSORS AND WILL HAVE A TABLE TO VISIT THERE, WITH FREE EASTER CANDY AND A REGISTRATION BOX FOR A $59.95 AM-FM RADIO TO
BE GIVEN AWAY AT 7 P.M. TOMORROW NIGHT.
