SUNNY AND 51 TODAY.
ONE MORE 50'S DAY TOMORROW...
THEN IN THE UPPER 40'S FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
WILL BE A LITTLE COLD FOR THE TRICK AND TREATERS FRIDAY NIGHT.
A YEAR AGO, WE ALREADY HAD OUR FIRST SNOWFALL IN
MAQUOKETA...A COUPLE INCHES. ONLY HALF THE CORN IS PICKED
IN THE AREA, BUT PICKING SHOULD BE COMPLETED IN THE NEXT 10 DAYS.
THE LOCAL HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES HAVE A TRAINING-IN-PROGRESS FOR THE EBOLA VIRUS. THE TRAINING INCLUDES NURSES, EMS EMPLOYEES, THOSE IN THE LAB, IN RADIOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES. THEY ARE USING LOCAL MATERIALS AND GETTING INFO OFF SEVERAL WEB SITES.
A FALL WALK IN ONE OF MANY BEAUTIFUL JACKSON COUNTY "HOLLERS".
BELLEVUE PLAYOFF GAME TONIGHT AT 6:45 HERE ON KMAQ'S HOME PAGE...."LIVE AND DIRECT" FROM DIKE, IOWA.
HALLOWEEN HOUSE UP THE HILL JUST NORTH OF McDONALDS.
DAN CARAWAY OF DUBUQUE (SON OF DALE AND LOVELL) IS SECOND FROM
LEFT.
THAT'S IT FOR ANOTHER DAY. I'M OFF AND RUNNING TO A FUNERAL HOME WAKE AT PRESTON.
