THE MAQUOKETA EDUCATION ASSOCIATION YEAR-END-EVENT WAS HELD LAST NIGHT AT MICHEL'S HALL. HONORED, THE DISTRICT RETIREES,
WHO HAVE OVER 240 YEARS OF COMBINED SERVICE WITH THE DISTRICT.
THEY ARE: LAURNET SPALDING, CATHY DURKOP, CINDY HEPKER, LOU ANN HUCKSTADT, JACKIE CROWLEY, BONNIE BRUCK, DIANE HENRY, KATHY
KLOCKE, RICK WILLIAMS, AND LINDA LIPPENS.
THE TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD WENT TO KATHY QUINLAN WHO HAS
TAUGHT FOR 26 YEARS IN THE HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
AND BILL HARRIS WAS HONORED AS THE FRIEND OF EDUCATION.
HE IS AN ELECTRICAL ENGINEER WITH THE LAKEHURST DAM AND HOSTS
A WIDE VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES FOR 7TH GRADERS AT THE DAM.
