COUNCIL APPROVED A NEW PEDDLER ORDINANCE. THE PERMIT CARD WILL
COST THE PEDDLER $50 AND IT WILL BE GOOD FOR 30 DAYS.
THE NEW LAW DOES NOT EFFECT GIRL SCOUTS OR STUDENTS SELLING
MAGAZINES FOR THE SCHOOL.
MAQUOKETA POLICE ARE CONTINUING THEIR INVESTIGATION OF THE SHOOTING OF GERALD EDWARDS LAST MONTH.
