LAST NIGHT, WRESTLING AT WATERLOO, COLUMBUS....A DOUBLE DUAL MEET. MAQUOKETA DEFEATED GLADBROOK-REINBECK-NORTH TAMA, 48 TO 32. AND THE CARDINALS ALSO TOPPED WATERLOO COLUMBUS, 51 TO 29. MAQUOKETA'S FINAL WAMAC DUAL MEET RECORD WAS 4 AND 6 FOR THE SEASON AND 7 AND 10 OVERALL. THEIR REGULAR SEASON IS OVER. THEY WILL HOST A CLASS 1-A SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH, AT 12 NOON AT THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL GYM.
DOROTHY BOETGER, 92, OF MAQUOKETA DIED TUESDAY.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY A DAUGHTER IN MAQUOKETA, CAROLYN CONDON.
PRIVATE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE RUNGE MORTUARY IN DAVENPORT.
