A BELLEVUE MAN, LONNIE FELTES, AGE 20, IS IN JAIL TODAY AFTER HE LEAD SHERIFF RUSS KETTMAN ON A CHASE AROUND 8 THIS MORNING.
JOHN MILDER, AGE 23, OF MAQUOKETA, WAS SENTENCED YESTERDAY TO FIVE YEARS IN PRISON ON CHARGES OF THEFT IN THE 2ND DEGREE AND POSSESSION OF A FIREARM AS A FELON. HE IS THE SECOND PERSON INVOLVED IN THE VANDALISM AT MOUNT HOPE CEMETERY.
A MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE NEW HURSTVILLE INTERPRETIVE CENTER , CALLED BY THE DNR, TO TALK ABOUT DEER POPULATION. IT WILL BE HELD NEXT WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 6:30. THE DNR WILL PRESENT A PLAN TO HELP REDUCE THE DEER HERD NUMBERS IN JACKSON COUNTY'S TWO STATE PARKS,AT MAQUOKETA AND BELLEVUE.
FAMOUS COUNTRY SINGER CRAIG MORGAN IS COMING TO BELLEVUE ON JUNE 25TH FOR THEIR "JAMMIN BELOW THE DAM" THAT DAY. CRAIG JUST RECENTLY HAD A BIG HIG "THAT'S WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SUNDAY".
ALMA BICKFORD, 88, OF MAQUOKETA DIED THIS MORNING AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL. SHE IS SURVIVED BY MY LONGTIME FRIEND AND BUSINESSMAN, JAKE BICKFORD, OWNER OF BILL MOLER'S STORE.
ALSO SURVIVED BY 4 OTHER SONS AND 4 DAUGHTERS. SHE WAS A NICE GOOD-HEARTED WOMAN AND HAD NOT BEEN IN GOOD HEALTH FOR SEVERAL YEARS. SOON, THE COMPLETE OBITURARY WILL BE POSTED AT
