AND SO...THE MAQUOKETA CAVES STATE PARK IS ALSO CLOSED, HOPEFULLY NO LATER THAN EARLY OR MID-AUGUST.
THE BLUFF LAKE RESTAURANT NEAR THE PARK IS OPEN AND WILL REMAIN OPEN THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS, REGULAR HOURS. BUT,
YOU WILL HAVE TO COME IN THE "BACK" WAY. WATCH FOR SIGNS.
GOOD NEWS TODAY REGARDING THE PARK.
MAQUOKETA VALLEY REC AND THEIR SUPPLIER
WILL BE DONATING $1,000 TO THE MAQUOKETA CAVES STATE PARK FOR NEW LIGHTS IN THE MAIN
CAVE. THE CHECK WILL BE PRESENTED WHEN THE
FRIENDS OF THE CAVE APPRECIATION NIGHT IS
HELD AT THE FAIRGROUDS ON APRIL 19TH, STARTING
AT 6 P.M.
