NANCY AND I HAD A FUN TIME, WITH ADDITIONAL TIME TO WATCH CHRISTMAS SHOPPERS NEAR OUR HOTEL ON MICHIGAN AVENUE. BECAUSE OF THE GOOD WEATHER, THERE WERE SHOPPERS EVERYWHERE, MORNING,
AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. THE DISNEY STORE WAS PACKED AND WE ALSO
SHOPPED NIEMAN-MARCUS WHERE I SPOTTED A NICE WINTER COAT BUT
PASSED ON BUYING IT WHEN I SAW THE $6,000+ PRICE TAG ON IT.
WE WANTED A BETTER VIEW OF THE LOOP, SO TOOK A HORSE AND BUGGY RIDE. LITTLE CHILLY BUT FUN.
ANYWAY, TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING AND A FUN WEEKEND AND WE SEND CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEWLYWEDS ON THEIR HONEYMOON THIS WEEK. NOW, I WILL BE WATCHING THE MAIL FOR A LETTER FROM THE ILLINOIS TOLLWAY AUTHORITY. I DROVE PAST A TOLL PAY BOOTH....COULDN'T GET OVER TO IT QUICK ENOUGH.
YOU KNOW THE OLD SAYING...."NICE CITY TO VISIT BUT I WOULD NEVER
WANT TO LIVE THERE".
THANKS FOR CHECKING IN AND HAVE A GOOD WEEK.
