TRACTOR ROLLOVER. RICK MORTENSON, AGE 50, SAID HIS I.H. TRACTOR ROLLED OVER HIM ONCE AND CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS IN A DITCH.
DEPUTY RANDY MANNING SAID THE TRACTOR WAS STILL RUNNING AND TIRES WERE SPINNING AND WHEN HELP ARRIVED AROUND 8 YESTERDAY MORNING, MORTENSON WAS SITTING ON THE GROUND BY HIS HOUSE AT 13841 150TH STREET. NO CONDITION REPORT IS AVAILABLE.
THE NAME OF THE FIRE VICTIM YESTERDAY AT DEWITT STILL HAS NOT
BEEN RELEASED.
BELLEVUE MARQUETTE IS MAKING PLANS TO BUILD A NEW HIGH SCHOOL
BUILDING IN DEWITT. BELLEVUE, JACKSON COUNTY'S 2ND LARGEST
COMMUNITY, HAS TWO K-12 SCHOOL SYSTEMS.
A MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL GRAD WILL BE TAKING PART IN THE WRANGLER FINALS RODEO IN LAS VEGAS, STARTING TONIGHT AND RUNNING THROUGH DECEMBER 13TH. HE IS TIM O'CONNELL OF ZWINGLE, SON OF RAY AND JOANN O'CONNELL.
JEFF AND EMILY SCHMITT OF DEWITT ARE PARENTS OF TWIN GIRLS, BORN NOVEMBER 26TH. EMILY (HER HUSBAND IS JEFF) IS THE PROGRAM AND
EVENTS COORDINATOR FOR THE DEWITT CHAMBER AND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY. IN PHOTO BELOW, THE TWINS KINSLEY AND SAWYER (BOTH A LITTLE OVER 5 POUNDS) JOINED SISTERS OLIVIA AND HARPER. JEFF BETTER START A SPECIAL WEDDING ACCOUNT FOR THE TIME WHEN THE GIRL'S GET MARRIED AT BRIDE'S PARENTS EXPENSE.
