WILL NOT BE DONE IN DECEMBER BUT WILL BE COMPLETELY DONE IN JANUARY. IT IS LOCATED JUST WEST OF THE JAIL ON WEST PLATT. THE HOME HAS BEEN CONVERTED INTO OFFICES FOR THE COUNTY. THE CASE MANAGEMENT AND MENTAL HEALTH OFFICIALS WILL BE LOCATED THERE.
TWO PEOPLE WERE APPOINTED TO CITY COMMITTES LAST NIGHT AT THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING. FORMER MAY TOM MESSERLI WAS RE-APPOINTED TO THE JACKSON COUNTY WASTE AUTHORITY. HE HAS ALREADY SERVED FOR SEVERAL YEARS. AND THE SUPERVISORS TODAY RE-APPOINTED JEAN CASEL TO THE WASTE AUTHORITY.
ALSO LAST NIGHT, JERRY BEAU WAS APPOINTED TO THE CITY ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT.
A VEHICLE WENT INTO THE DITCH FROM A SNOWY ROAD SUNDAY NIGHT ON 435TH AVENUE. SHERIFF DEPUTY MICHAEL PETERS SAID BRIAN JORDAN, AGE 33, OF MAQUOKETA, WAS DRIVING NORTH AND LOST CONTROL. THE
VEHICLE ROLLED ONTO ITS TOP AND $5,000 IN DAMAGES TO HIS 1999 GMC.
