BRANDON BODENHOFER, AGE 32, WAS AT A COURT HEARING TODAY AND
AS WHEN HE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE CELL AT THE DETENTION CENTER,
HE WAS NOT SHACKLED AND ESCAPED. HE RAN FROM DEPUTY
STEVE SCHROEDER. LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS SEARCHED THE
AREA AND DID NOT FIND HIM. AS OF LATE THIS AFTERNOON, HE
WAS STILL AT LARGE. HE IS FROM THE MAQUOKETA - BALDWIN AREA.
A CLINTON WOMAN DROWNED IN THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER SATURDAY NEAR SABULA AND HER HUSBAND IS STILL MISSING. THEIR SON AND HIS 2 CHILDREN MADE IT TO SHORE SAFELY. IT WAS A WINDY DAY.

PHYLLIS ALLISON LYON, AGE 82, OF DAVENPORT, DIED SATURDAY AT
CRESTRIDGE HERE IN MAQUOKETA. THE FUNERAL WILL BE NEXT MONDAY AT THE CHRIST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN DAVENPORT. SHE WAS A HOMEMAKER. SURVIVORS INCLUDE A SISTER, MARILYN FRANDSEN OF MAQUOKETA.
