THURSDAY DAILY REPORT
THE MAQUOKETA SCHOOL BOARD POSTPONED A DECISION WHETHER TO OFFER EARLY RETIREMENT FOR TEACHERS AND STAFF MEMBERS NEXT
YEAR. THEY WILL DISCUSS IT AGAIN AT THE DECEMBER 9TH MEETING.
EARLY RETIREMENT HAS BEEN OFFERED THE LAST THREE YEARS.
ON THE POLICE BLOTTER, JOHN DAVIS AT 416 1/2 SOUTH CLARK STREET
SAID HIS TV WAS TAKEN. HE MADE THE REPORT YESTERDAY.
THERE WILL BE A BIRD-FEEDER WORKSHOP AT 1 P.M. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD. THE COST (PARTICIPANTS WILL BUILD A FEEDER TO KEEP) IS $7 AND THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER WILL BE NOVEMBER 20TH. REGISTER BY CALLING THE HURSTVILLE INTERPRETIVE CENTER AT 652-3783.
THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1988 WILL HAVE THEIR 25TH YEAR

NOT SURPRISING, HERE IN MAQUOKETA, IT IS ALREADY STARTING TO LOOK LIKE CHRISTMAS IN STORES AND IN HOMES WHERE THE TREE IS VISABLE TO THE OUTSIDE.
