OF MARK LAWSON WHO IS NOW A NEW DISTRICT COURT JUDGE.
FORMER KMAQ STUDENT ANNOUNCER TIM MELVOLD HAS RECEIVED
QUITE A PROMOTION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE. HE HAS
BEEN AN ADMISSION COUNSELOR THERE FOR FIVE YEARS. THIS
WEEK, HE WAS PROMOTED TO AN ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS.
HE WILL HAVE SOME ADDED DUTIES. TIM GRADUATED FROM MAQUOKETA
HIGH SCHOOL 10 YEARS AGO. HE RECEIVED A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE
DEGREE AT THE UNVIERSITY OF DUBUQUE IN 2007 AND HIS MASTER'S DEGREE IN 2012. TIM IS THE SON OF KMAQ NEWS DIRECTOR SHERI
MELVOLD AND TOM MESSERLI, AND DOUG AND MARY MELVOLD,
ALL OF MAQUOKETA. TIM AND HIS WIFE HILLARY LIVE IN DUBUQUE. HILLARY IS A MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER IN MAQUOKETA.
