VISITORS WILL HAVE TO WALK THROUGH A METAL DETECTOR WHEN ENTERING THE BUILDING. THE SUPERVISORS DECIDED ON THIS TO
BETTER PROTECT THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF COURTHOUSE
PERSONNEL, THE JUDICIARY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT.
THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS AND BOYS TENNIS TEAMS
WERE SCHEDULED TO OPEN THE SEASON THIS AFTERNOON
AGAINST INDEPENDENCE.....BUT BECAUSE OF COLD WEATHER,
THE MEET WAS POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY.
APRIL IS LIBRARY MONTH. ABOUT A DOZEN CITIZENS RECORDED A
SHORT PUBLIC SERVICE SPOT ON KMAQ, GIVING SUPPORT TO
THE LIBRARY. THESE WILL RUN NUMEROUS TIMES DURING THE MONTH.
