WILL THEY CHANGE THIS TO 7 - 3 THURSDAY MORNING?    HOPE SO!
GO CARDINALS!
NOW THAT THE LITTLE KIDS  HAVE A NEW PARK, MAYBE THE OLDER KIDS
DESERVE A NEW SKATE PARK??    I THINK THE KIDS BUILT THIS THEMSELVES
ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO!      NOW NOT USED MUCH, BUT NO WONDER!
THE CITY AT THE TIME SAID IT WOULD PUT A SIDEWALK OUT TO IT.
NEVER DID!    THE CITY WAS GOING TO KEEP IT SWEPT AND IN GOOD
REPAIR!   KIDS LOVE A GOOD SKATE PARK!    A GREAT ONE AND POPULAR, IS THE ONE ON DEVILS GLENN ROAD IN BETTENDORF.

FROM LIGHT PLANT LOOKING WEST AT THE BEND IN THE MAQUOKETA
RIVER, WHERE YOU CAN PUT IN  A BOAT.    WITH SOME WORK AND MONEY,
THIS COULD SOME DAY BE A BEAUTIFUL PARK ALONG THE RIVER.
IT  HAS NEW TREES, BENCHES, AND MAYBE SOME DAY, A PICNIC TABLE
OR TWO..... AND A SHELTER?
AN OLD BRIDGE IN THE FOREFRONT, WITH NEW BALES OF HAY IN THE BACKGROUND.     REMEMBER WHEN BALES WERE THE SIZE THAT A  STRONG MAN COULD TOSS ONE ON A WAGON?
OLD SIGNS JUST HANG AROUND FOREVER.   THIS FURNITURE STORE CLOSED YEARS AGO.    LOTS OF RECLINERS WENT THROUGH THOSE
DOORS FOR BETTER HOMES FURNITURE, THEN OWL FURNITURE, AND LAST PREMIER HOME FURNITURE.     JACKSON COUNTY IS ONE OF THE FEW COUNTIES WITHOUT A FURNITURE STORE.   NONE!
I'M GUESSING THIS HOME NEXT TO THE HOSPITAL, WITH A NICE PORTCH,
HAS NOT BEEN LIVED-IN FOR 10 YEARS.   I THINK THE HOSPITAL OWNS
IT?    LET'S SEE, 120 MONTHS @ $450...$54,000 IN LOST RENT.
NICE LOCATION TOO....RIGHT NEXT TO THE HOSPITAL, ACROSS THE
STREET FROM A MEDICAL CLINIC, AND NEAR A SCHOOL AND NEW PARK.

I'LL TAKE MY CAMERA OUT AGAIN SOMETIME SOON.
