STATE PARK FOR 18 HOURS, FROM FRIDAY NIGHT UNTIL SATURDAY
AFTERNOON. HE WAS WEAK, BUT NOT INJURED. HIS GIRL FRIEND GOT STUCK FIRST AND HE HELPED GET HER FREE AFTER 4 HOURS AND THEN
HE GOT STUCK HIMSELF. BOTH HAVE BEEN CAVING FOR MANY YEARS, SINCE THEY WERE KIDS.
THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASEBALL TEAM STARTED THE
SEASON LAST NIGHT WITH A 2 TO 0 LOSS TO DUBUQUE WAHLERT.

IN MAQUOKETA AGAINST NORTH SCOTT.
THE CARDINAL BOYS SOCCER TEAM IN DISTRICT PLAY LAST NIGHT DEFEATED WEST DELAWARE, 2 TO 1 AND T AKE ON DUBUQUE WAHLERT TOMORROW AFTERNOON AT 5, AT DUBUQUE.
A NEW MAQUOKETA WRESTLING CLUB WILL MEET TONIGHT AT 7 AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY. THE CLUB IS TO EMPOWER, ENCOURAGE, AND PROMOTE THE SPORT OF WRESTLING INVOLVING STUDENTS, PARENTS, ALUMNI AND THE COMMUNITY; TO SUPERVISE, SPONSOR AND FINANCIALLY ASSIST A DISCIPLINED AND COMPETITIVE WRESTLING PROGRAM. THEIR GREATEST INTENTION IS TO BUILD CHARACTER, PERSISTENCE, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND A HARD WORK ETHIC AMONG MAQUOKETA YOUNG PEOPLE---THROUGH WRESTLING.
