THE GAME PLAYED AT DEWITT. THE CARDINALS ENDED UP THE SEASON
WITH A 10 AND 12 RECORD. KELSEY HOLMES AGAIN LED THE CARDINALS IN SCORING. KELSEY WAS THE ONLY SENIOR ON THE TEAM AND
HAS BEEN NAMED TO THE FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE. SO, THE CARDINAL TEAM
WAS A YOUNG ONE AND SHOULD PICK UP A LOT MORE WINS NEXT YEAR.

IN BUSINESS NEWS, DAWN ZEIMET HAS SOLD DAWN'S DINER (AND THE BUILDING) ON EAST PLATT STREET TO STEVE McAFEE OF MAQUOKETA. THE DINER WILL CLOSE FEBRUARY 25TH.
ZEIMET SAID McAFEE PLANS TO DO SOME REMODELING AND WILL RE-OPEN APRIL 1ST. DAWN HAS HAD THE BUSINESS FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND SAID IT WAS TIME
TO DO SOMETHING ELSE. SHE SAID SHE HASN'T DECIDED WHAT THAT WILL BE.
NANCY, I AND LONNA HAVE HAD LUNCH THERE MANY, MANY TIMES AND WILL MISS
DAWN'S HOME COOKING.......AND THANKS ALSO TO HER FOR BEING A REGULAR
