I ABOUT TO TAKE A RIDE ON THE FERRIS WHEEL. IT WAS FUN! PRIOR TO THE
RIDE, IN FRONT OF THE GRANDSTAND, I WAS HONORED BY THE FAIRBOARD AND
INDUCTED INTO THE CLINTON COUNTY FAIR HALL OF FAME. HAVE A NICE PLAQUE TO HANG IN MY OFFICE. I RECEIVED THE HONOR FOR COVERING THE FAIR OVER 40 YEARS. TWO OTHERS ALSO RECEIVED THE HONOR, BILL MOMMSEN, GOOSE LAKE FARMER AND MEMBER OF THE FAIR BOARD FOR 12 YEARS AND DAN SMICKER OF DEWITT, VO-AG INSTRUCTOR AND FFA ADVISOR AT DEWITT HIGH SCHOOL FOR 37 YEARS.
