JUSTIN MOHR, AGE 21, OF MAQUOKETA, WHO WAS INJURED IN A GUNSHOT INCIDENT LAST SATURDAY NIGHT AT RURAL WYOMING, REMAINS IN SERIOUS TO CRITICAL CONDITION AT UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS IN IOWA CITY. KMAQ NEWS WAS INFORMED TODAY THAT HE HAS BEEN TAKEN OFF LIFE SUPPORT AND IS ABLE TO TALK WITH FAMILY MEMBERS. HE LOST A KIDNEY, PART OF HIS LIVER AND IS PARALIZED FROM THE WAIST DOWN. HE WILL BEGIN PHYSICAL THERAPY NEXT WEEK. HIS PARENTS, AL AND ELOISE MOHR, ARE WITH HIM
DAY AND NIGHT. JUSTIN CAN NOT SEE VISITORS AT THIS TIME.
MANY PEOPLE HAVE EXPRESSED INTEREST IN DOING SOMETHING FOR THE FAMILY. TWO EMPLOYEES AT BARRON MOTOR SUPPLY (JUSTIN'S DAD IS MANAGER OF THE FIRM) ARE HEADING UP A DRIVE FOR ASSISTANCE TO THE FAMILY AND WILL BE TAKING THINGS TO THE HOSPITAL EVERY FEW DAYS.
