THE THREE COUGARS WERE RETURNED TO PAM AND RANDY GARIEN AT 5 THIS MORNING. SHERIFF KETTMANN AND DEPUTY RANDY MANNING
WENT UP TO DULUTH TO GET THEM. EACH WAY IT WAS A 7 HOUR TRIP.
THE SHERIFF SAID THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSPORT.
A WELL-KNOWN, LONGTIME MAQUOKETA COUPLE, PAUL AND GERI HAYES OF MAQUOKETA WILL CELEBRATE THEIR 60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY FRIDAY. ACTUALLY, THEY WILL HAVE A FAMILY DINNER SUNDAY.
THEY HAVE 2 CHILDREN. DEB LIVES IN BURLINGTON WITH FAMILY AND MARK AND FAMILY LIVE IN BETTENDORF. THEY HAVE 4 GRANDCHILDREN.
PAUL REALLY CAN TALK ABOUT THE EARLY DAYS OF MAQUOKETA....GOOD MEMORY. GERI TOO.
THE GOVERNOR WALKS FROM BALDWIN TO MAQUOKETA TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND PLANTS A TREE AT THE HURSTVILLE INTREPRETIVE CENTER AT 5 TOMORROW AFTERNOON.
