NOW..THE FINAL RESULTS ARE ALSO IN FROM TODAY AND FOR THE TOURNAMENT. SOPHOMORE JORDAN DAVIS FINISHED 6TH INDIVIDUALLY , WITH A TWO-DAY SCORE OF 162. SHE HAD A 79 YESTERDAY AND AN 83 TODAY. THE WINNING SCORE WAS 152. AS A TEAM, MAQUOKETA HELD ON TO 4TH PLACE IN THE 8-TEAM FIELD. THEY WERE THE DEFENDING CHAMPIONS.
ANOTHER ROTARY DUCK OWNER TO ANNOUNCE. JOANN "JODY" SCHENK O'BRIAN OF EAST LONGMEADOW, MARYLAND. THE TWO DUCKS SHE BOUGHT ARE IN REMEMBRANCE OF VINCENT SNYDER AND ELOISE SNYDER SCHENK, WHO BOTH WOULD HAVE BEEN 100 ON MAY 25TH.

THE MAIN TOPIC LAST NIGHT WAS THE PROPOSED SUPER WAL-MART AT THE SOUTH EDGE OF MAQUOKETA. THE LAND CURRENTLY IS IN THE COUNTY BUT WILL BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY BEFORE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS.

A TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN MAQUOKETA THIS MORNING AT 4:58 AT THE INTERSECTION OF EAST QUARRY AND NORTH OTTO. LORI ANN WEIMERSKIRCH, 34, OF MAQUOKETA WAS EAST BOUND.
RICH ROTH, 41, OF MAQUOKETA, WAS NORTHBOUND ON OTTO AND FAILED TO STOP AT THE STOP SIGN AND STRUCK THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE OF THE WEIMERSKIRCH AUTO. ROTH WAS CHARGED.
